I would like to thank you for the opportunity to present The Leadership in Action Foundation. This Foundation is a Florida Not for Profit Corporation.* The Foundation’s mission is to inspire and empower the community through education. The Foundation currently supports scholarships and trainings for individuals and for teachers in “Parenting Classes” for the new millennium and in “The Journey,” an exciting and empowering self-teaching experience designed to have participants be invested, with passion, in their true heartfelt commitments.

As you know there are many parents, educators, care givers and leaders in our community who look for alternative ways to empower, inspire and champion our children.  Some parents cannot afford classes due to a variety of factors including low wages, job loss, injuries, illness, age, domestic violence, divorce, incarceration among other reasons.  While all of us are susceptible to hard times, children are at the most risk, and it is our mission to serve them.
The Parenting Class offered by TMC Productions, LLC.
Prior to the beginning of this year’s school term the Foundation brought this class to the principal and teachers of Orangewood Elementary School in Fort Myers, Florida.  Our goal is to educate all administrators and teachers throughout Lee County to learn the tools taught in the Parenting Class to create a more cooperative classroom and learning environment by empowering, inspiring and championing their students.  In addition, The Leadership in Action Foundation provides this class, free of charge, to inmates in the Lee County prison system and through out the State of Florida. We also provide scholarships to those parents who cannot afford the course.
THE JOURNEY offered by TMC Productions, LLC.
The Foundation brings The Journey to inmates in the Lee County prison system.  We are committed to offering effective rehabilitation to those who have made bad choices in their past by offering fundamental, empowering concepts of responsibility, choice and effective, open and honest communication. Our vision is to take The Journey, as well as CCC, throughout the Florida prison system.
With the generous support of people and organizations like you, we will be able to support many of these families, individuals, and schools not only to gain essential skills, but to work toward a brighter future through education. Thank you for your time and consideration, and we look forward to partnering with you and/or your organization to make a true difference in our community.
Sincerely,
Kenny Baker
